Emily Rose

MOT, OTR/L, Clinic in the Community Coordinator

Emily (she/her) is a proud Midwesterner from Cleveland, Ohio, who now calls the Rocky Mountain state of Colorado home. She began her career as an Intervention Specialist after earning a degree in education from the University of Dayton in 2011 (Go Flyers!) However, she was inspired by the progress of her youngest brother, Jake, who made great gains via occupational therapy over the years. This led her back to school, and in 2017, she earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Cleveland State University.

Emily is deeply passionate about pediatric occupational therapy and considers herself a lifelong learner. Her experience spans early intervention, inpatient geriatric rehabilitation, and pediatric outpatient care. She holds certifications in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Safe and Sound Protocol, Therapeutic Listening, SpIRiT and STEPPSI, and DDP: Level One, while actively advancing her DIR training. Dedicated to professional growth, Emily enjoys taking continuing education courses to integrate the latest evidence-based interventions into her practice.

Outside of work, Emily loves exploring the outdoors through hiking and skiing, discovering new coffee shops, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
