Donating via Appreciated Stock
Donate appreciated stock. You may be able to take a tax deduction for the full value of your stock on the day you transfer it to DFX, and avoid the impact of capital gains. Please check with your tax advisor for current IRS policies related to donating stock. DFX offers two options: you can transfer stock directly to our account with Fidelity or through Stock Donator. Either way, the stock is sold and DFX receives the proceeds. Email us for our Fidelity account information or donate via StockDonator now.

Designate DFX as a Recipient of an IRA Distribution
You can make a gift to DFX from your traditional or Roth IRA if you are 70 1/2 or older. This Qualified Charitable Distribution or IRA Charitable Rollover may count towards your Required Minimum Distribution for the tax year and also reduce your taxable income. Consult your tax advisor for current details on the tax implications of donating this way.

When filing your Colorado Income Taxes, you can donate to DFX by entering our charity ID (20083005674) on the Voluntary Contributions Schedule (DR 0104CH) of your Colorado Individual Income Tax Return. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the benefits of donating this way.
