The Developmental FX open house on November 12 was a great success. Many friends and colleagues came to see the new space and tested out the new trampoline and sky blankets. Weren't we surprised when our good friend Pat Wilbarger flew in from Santa Barbara to help us celebrate.

Upcoming Events:
- Our 2010 consultation and lecture schedules are filling quickly. We continue to hone our GPS skills to keep track of "where in the world" Tracy and Mouse are headed next! We'd love to come visit you - call or email us to schedule something! Don't forget the National Fragile X Conference in Detroit July 21-25.
- Our 2010 Sensory Integration Study Groups will start in January 2010 offering dates for both core and advanced topics. The courses will focus on an overview of the topics related to Ayres' Theory of Sensory Integration. The groups will meet once a month from January - June 2010 from 6-8 pm at Developmental FX - 2000 S. Dahlia St, Suite 300 in Denver. This courses will be facilitated by Tracy Murnan Stackhous, MA, OTR providing clinical and theoretical expertise in sensory integration and occupational therapy. The fee for each group is $30 per session, for 6 sessions. The $180 includes 18 continuing education hours. - Developmental FX is proud to introduce a weekly handwriting group starting mid-January 2010 for children ages Kindergarten through 4th grade. Jamie McGrew, OTR, will be the instructor offering Sensory Motor Gym activities, handwriting lessons using the "Handwriting Without Tears" curriculum, and an parent overview of each session for home programming. The exact dates and time are to be determined, however, the group will meet late afternoon after school. This group will not only involve learning and practicing handwriting skills, but will address the underlying foundational skills that are important for success. - MIAMI 2010!!! Mouse and Tracy are honored to be included as guest faculty for the annual Miami Children's Hospital post-graduate course - "Perspectives in Pediatrics". This is the 45th annual conference that Miami Children's has put on for continuing medical education for pediatricians. It is expected that over 800 pediatricians from around the world will attend this conference. The conference organizer, Barbara Soliman, heard us speak on Fragile X in September and embraced the importance of spreading this message throughout the medical community.
